The Panorama Boys Basketball Team fought hard, but came up short in the Class 2A Region 7 game, losing 70-54 to West Central Valley in Stuart on Monday.

The Panthers and Wildcats came out with good intensity in the first quarter, as Panorama led 20-14. The Wildcats would respond in the second quarter, outscoring the Panthers 15-8 to take a 29-28 advantage into halftime. West Central Valley started to get some distance in the third quarter, possessing a 48-40 lead heading into the fourth. Over the final eight minutes, the Wildcats would garner 22 points and limit the Panthers to 14 to win the game 70-54.

Panorama put up a great battle, but will conclude the 2025-26 season with a record of 2-20. With the victory, West Central Valley improves to 13-10 overall and will hit the road to Ida Grove on Thursday for a matchup versus OABCIG for the second round.
