Over the past 10 years, 100+ People for Perry have supported 40 nonprofit organizations.
Organizer Tom Lipovac says the group has pledged $272,000 to those organizations over the course of 40 meetings. The first meeting was held in 2016 and Lipovac details that the group’s mission is to invest in Perry’s future through supporting worthy projects which advance the quality of life and the betterment of the community.
The goal of 100+ People for Perry is to make four large donations each year. The group most recently pledged funds to the First National Bank Clock Repair project.
The 1st Quarter 100+ People for Perry Meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday at the Hotel Pattee.
Lipovac says that while only members may attend and present possible project ideas at the meeting, community members are always welcome to join the group.
