
The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Basketball Team hosted a non-conference game in Adel versus Norwalk on Tuesday, winning 75-56 to pick up their 19th victory.
The first quarter was back and forth, as the Tigers led 17-12. However, the Warriors outscored ADM in the second to crawl back within a point, trailing 35-34 at halftime. The Tigers would get a spark in the second half, notching 40 points, holding Norwalk to 22 on their way to roll to a 75-56 win.
ADM had three players in double figures with senior Trey Bryte, who had 25 points, followed by senior Hudson Lorensen with 23, and senior Hudson Shull added 13 points. Norwalk was charged by junior Audric Pelzer with 13 points, then senior James Hatlevig and junior Tillman Papcun contributed with 12 points.
With the win, the Tigers climb to 19-2 on the season, while the Warriors drop to 14-7 overall. Norwalk will prepare for the Class 4A Regional First Round game on February 27th, and ADM will conclude the regular season tomorrow, traveling to Newton to face the Cardinals.
