In just the second season for the program, the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Bowling Team has punched its ticket to the state tournament.

The Tigers rolled a meet-best 3,040 pins during the Iowa High School Athletic Association Class 2A State Qualifying Meet in Ames on Monday. ADM competed against eight other schools and finished first as a team to advance to next week’s state tournament. 

ADM also qualified two individuals for the state tournament as seniors Cole Darling and Trey Lee finished third and fourth, respectively. 

The Tigers will compete in the State Bowling Championships, which will take place on February 23-25 at Cadillac XBC in Waterloo.
