The Perry Bluejays basketball team wrapped up the regular season on the road in Fort Dodge High School, falling to the Dodgers 76-58 and end the regular season with a 3-19 record.
A fourth quarter push by the Dodgers would secure Fort Dodge the victory over Perry after a strong start by the Bluejays. Down by six entering the second quarter, the Bluejays battled back to tie the game at 24-24 for most of the second quarter, but the Dodgers made crucial three pointers in the second to secure a nine point lead at halftime, 33-24. Gustavo Drahos ended the night with 21 points with four threes made to help Perry score 23 in the third, but the Dodgers hung on and continue to secure points from beyond the arch to secure a 76-59 victory over Perry.
Alongside Drahos, George Krohn and Luke Adair also scored in the double digits with Krohn ending the night with 11 points. Adair hit two threes to end the night with 10 points, as Perry now shifts their focus for the first round of regional play on Monday in Carroll. Tip off for regional basketball against the Tigers on Monday is scheduled for 7pm.
