The Panorama School Board heard another report on possibly moving to a four day week.
Superintendent Kasey Huebner says that he gave some information from an ongoing community survey to the Board, but that no action was taken at this time. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio that residents of the district can still participate in the survey.
“So if families haven’t taken a survey, they can put their two cents in. They can give their feedback. Cause really that’s what the board is using to help make a decision and see what the interest is as a community. We’ve surveyed the staff, surveyed the high school students for next year. So now we’re out surveying the families.”
Huebner mentions that this is the second such survey. He mentions that one of the positives of a four day week, is that it allows the school to be more creative in adapting the schedule to be more beneficial for the students and staff.
