
The West Central Valley Girls Basketball Team played a very talented Westwood squad on Tuesday in Sloan, losing 54-16, as their season comes to a close.
A total of 13 points were scored in the first quarter, seeing the Rebels lead 9-4. The Wildcats would only manage to get two points in the second quarter, as Westwood held a 19-6 advantage at halftime. The Rebels put together a nice second half, outscoring West Central Valley 35-10 to coast to a 54-16 win.
Despite the loss, the Wildcats did come away on top in their first round matchup against Logan-Magnolia 54-31. West Central Valley concludes the 2025-26 season with an overall record of 9-15.
Westwood now moves on to play Panorama in Sloan on Friday at 7pm.
