The Panora Public Library is doing something new this month.
Library Director Molly Allen says they are doing a Blind Date with a Book. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio more about the event.
“We’re doing that with our adult books. Taking books and wrapping them up and putting a few clues on the outside for people to choose and maybe get a book that’s outside of their comfort zone or something that they wouldn’t have chosen otherwise.”
Allen mentions that individuals can turn in a Rate Your Date bookmark once they’ve finished the book. She adds that these bookmarks will be used in a drawing for the chance to win a small Valentine’s Day treat/prize.
