The Panorama Boys Wrestling Team has two representatives at the Iowa High School State Wrestling Tournament in Des Moines, as senior Blake Schwartz’s season continues, while senior Austin Wagner’s comes to an end.

Schwartz, in weight class 165, received a first-round bye, then faced Emmetsburg’s Bradyen Yates in the second round, winning in a fall, lasting four minutes and 20 seconds. For Panthers’ Wagner, he was beat by West Sioux Hawarden’s Kendrin VanBeek in an 12-1 major decision, then was put in the consolation bracket, where he fell in four minutes and 29 seconds to MMCRU’s Parker Glassmaker as Wagner’s high school wrestling career is now over.

Schwartz will now participate in the quarterfinal round today versus South Winneshiek’s Kyle Kuboushek, beginning at 9am.
