Two individuals and the Greene County coach received All-District honors from the Iowa High School Bowling Coaches Association. Senior Teagan Chisholm and junior Chase Fecher were both named to the All-District first team with junior Jacob Rumley and sophomore Jared Dawson on the second team. John Woodford was named the Class 1A District Coach of the Year.
The Rams won the 1A State Qualifying Meet in Carroll last Monday, outlasting 2025 State Champion Vinton-Shellsburg. Today, Greene County plays in the team portion of the State Tournament at Cadillac Lanes in Waterloo. Fecher and Chisholm compete tomorrow in the individual State Tournament.
This is the first appearance at State for the Rams as a team and having individuals to qualify. This is just the third season of Greene County bowling.
