In just its second year of competing in Overwatch 2, the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Esports Team is heading to state.

The team punched its ticket to state after defeating Oskaloosa in three rounds during the Class 2 Sub-State playoffs. The Tigers finished the regular season with a 6-1 record. 

Team members include Miller Banse (captain), Carter Haaland, Donnie Westendorf, Abigail Maffin, Zander Karnik, Thomas McHugh and Jack Rowley. 

ADM’s Overwatch Team will compete at the Iowa High School Esports State Tournament on Thursday at the B.A. Niblock – Orpheum Theater in Marshalltown, with matches beginning at 8:15 a.m. Fans can attend in person free of charge or watch the action live on the IAHSEA YouTube Channel.
