Adel-DeSoto-Minburn senior Colby Simons has made a decision about where he’d like to continue playing football in college.

Simons recently announced that he will be attending the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, South Dakota following graduation in the spring. Simons primarily played at the Kicker position, recording 65 kickoffs and 38 touchbacks. He also had three field goals during the season and a season-long 42 yards. Simons was 50 for 53 on Point After Touchdowns.

ADM concluded the 2025 season with a 9-2 overall record (5-0 in district), finishing undefeated at home in Adel, and ultimately lost to Xavier in the Class 4A Quarterfinal game on November 7th.
