As winter begins to transition to spring, so do sports at Perry High School as Monday marked the first day that track was allowed to begin practicing as scheduled by the IHSAA.

Head coaches Jason Lutterman and Matthew Hardy return for another year with the Bluejays and Jayettes respectively, with both teams looking for a strong start to the season. Members of the Bluejays basketball team look to join the track team moving forward after having regional basketball on Monday during the first practice of the season. Rylan Morlin and Gavin Leslie look to return after finding success last season for the boys, while Treasure Moore and Cate Erickson also eagerly await competition for the Jayettes.

The track season is officially underway as the first practice of the season began on Monday.
