The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Bowling Team participated in the Iowa High School Athletic Association Class 2A Team Bowling State Tournament in Waterloo on Tuesday, notching a second place finish.

ADM had a first round match against Waterloo East, where they swept a three-game series with scores of 225, 202, and 199. Then the Tigers battled the top-seeded Denison-Schleswig Monarchs, and fell in all three games, but put up scores of 163, 171, and 173.

Denison-Schleswig was awarded first place, but ADM received second place, followed by Central DeWitt, Waterloo East, Western Dubuque, North Scott, Decorah, and Lewis Central.

This was the first time that ADM made the team portion of the state tournament in their second year as a lone program.
