There are a few events for the youth of Adair County happening Friday and Saturday nights.

Adair County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Youth Coordinator Caroline Savage says that the Washington Stars 4-H Club is hosting a Nurse Night Friday from 6-8pm. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio who can attend.

“This is open to all K(indergarten) through sixth grade youth, and both events will take place at the 4-H/FFA building out of the Adair County Fairgrounds. So come join us, have some fun.”

Savage mentions that Saturday night’s event is a Daddy/Daughter Dance, with the theme of Denim and Diamonds. She adds that each event does have an entrance fee of $5 per person.
