
The AC/GC Charger girls basketball seniors were a major part in leading the team this past season.
Karli Kautzky started 18 of the 20 games she played in, going 32.8 percent from the field, 20 percent from beyond the arch, and 72.7 percent from the charity stripe. She also secured 43 rebounds, breaking down to 19 offensive and 24 defensive. Kautzky recorded 48 assists, 30 steals, one block and 52 points. She was also given a 1.02 on the value point system (VPS), a statistic used by coaches to evaluate performance beyond scoring, and a way to measure how efficiently a player impacts the game.
Savannah Akers started in one of the 11 games she played in, going one of seven from the field, and one of three from the charity stripe. She hauled in four rebounds, with one offensive and three defensive. Akers also recorded three assists, one steal, three points, and was given a 0.63 VPS.
Becca Littler started all 22 of the team’s games, going 24.6 percent from the field, 23.9 percent from behind the three point line, and 62.5 percent from the free throw line. She collected 63 rebounds, breaking down to eight offensive and 55 defensive. Littler also tallied 52 assists, 50 steals, four blocks, and scored 108 points. She was given a 0.94 VPS.
Camdyn Richter also started all 22 of the team’s games, shooting 47.4 percent from the field, 31.7 percent from downtown, and 71.2 percent from the charity stripe. She collected the second most rebounds on the team with a total of 136, breaking down to 60 offensive and 76 defensive boards. Richter dished out 23 assists, 57 steals, 11 blocks, and scored 371 points. She was given a 1.28 VPS.
