After a successful rookie season with the Perry Bluejays wrestling team, freshmen Brady Welch and Chris Tolle are hungry to return to the mat after just falling short of qualifying for the state tournament.

Welch had a strong start to the season and never slowed down, racking up 29 wins throughout his freshmen campaign ending his rookie season with a 29-18 record. Alongside Welch, fellow freshmen Tolle also found success all season long, ending his first year with the varsity Bluejays with a 30-15 record.

Hungry to return to the mat for the 2026-27 season, Tolle and Welch look for another strong season with the Bluejays wrestling squad.
