Main Street Guthrie Center has a deadline for an important town event coming up.

Executive Director Becky Peterson says that they will be leading a big community event that shares updates from multiple entities. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio when people can expect the event.

“Coming up very soon, we have our Celebrate Guthrie Center event and that is on March 13th at the Guthrie Activity Center again. The social hour starts at 5 p.m. and then dinner starts at six and then we’ll have the event start, which will go (with) a bunch of different entities from Guthrie Center.”

Peterson mentions that there is also the fifth annual Volunteer of the Year Award. She adds that nominations for the award must be turned in on or before March 2nd.
