Tonight is the main annual fundraiser for the Greene County Cattlemen’s Association.
Organizers say the event starts with a ribeye steak meal and sides that are provided by Jefferson Hy-Vee and the meat is grilled by the Cattlemen’s Association. Then there will be remarks and an overview of 2025, before everything moves into the live trophy auction. Vice President Brandon Muir says last year they brought in over $24,000, which they were able to give back to the community with over 20 projects and other worthy causes.
The fundraiser will be held at Clover Hall on the Greene County Fairgrounds with doors opening at 6pm and the meal to be served at 6:30pm. Tickets are $25 each and will be available at the door.
