The AC/GC Charger boys basketball sophomores helped the team in some key moments this past season.

Ryan Martens played in 10 of the team’s 23 games, going 22.2 percent from the field, and 33.3 percent from beyond the arch. He also hauled in four rebounds, breaking down to one offensive and three defensive. Martens recorded a steal and six points. He was also given a 0.50 on the value point system (VPS), a statistic used by coaches to evaluate performance beyond scoring, and a way to measure how efficiently a player impacts the game.

Hudson Gilland started in six of the 16 games he played, going 40 percent from the field, and 25 percent from the free throw line. He collected 44 rebounds, breaking down to 11 offensive and 33 defensive. Gilland also tallied four assists, five steals, two blocks, and scored 17 points. He was given a 0.78 VPS.
