A US Representative shares that while he generally agrees with President Donald Trump, there are things that he doesn’t agree with.

Congressman for Iowa’s 3rd District Zach Nunn says that one of the topics that he and the president are far apart in agreement on is the championing of US cattlemen. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio that he’s been clear with his stance on the topic with administration.

“The solution is not temporary foreign imports. It’s about doubling down on the investments we’ve already made here in herd protection here in the United States so that a family farmer in Iowa can be successful and that our producers have the ability to expand and stabilize our supply chain so that we can bring down prices the right way with a made in America solution.”

Nunn mentions that the long-term goal that he believes everyone is looking for is price stability. He adds that he’s looking forward to moving a farm bill through the chambers.
