Panorama senior Morgan Crees will be apart of tonight’s Wahl McAtee Tire and Service Center Guthrie County PM Sports Magazine on Raccoon Valley Radio to reflect on her high school basketball career.

Crees has been on the Panthers Girls Basketball Team throughout all four years of high school, and has hit a milestone of scoring over 1,000 points in her career. She says that the team grew during the season being such a young squad, as the girls quickly developed more confidence towards the end of the year.

Crees had two coaches throughout her time at Panorama with Kylee Boettcher and Randy Miller, and acknowledges that it was good to see how she could adapt to two different styles. She wants to leave advice for the younger girls who will be taking over the program in the coming years.

“Just to take it all in. It goes by really quick, and I know everyone says that, but it really does. And I just think that you just really need to cherish those times as a team, and then just the opportunity to play because it just kind of hits me every now and then that I won’t be able to play every day again.”

Crees is now turning her attention to soccer for Panorama, and then once she graduates, she’ll attend Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs to play soccer and major in Pre-Pharmacy.

The whole conversation with Crees can be heard tonight on the Wahl McAtee Tire and Service Center Guthrie County PM Sports Magazine on K107.9 KKRF, beginning at 6pm. The show features conversations with Activity Directors, players, and coaches from AC/GC, West Central Valley, and Panorama High Schools.
