Youths looking to show animals at the Adair County Fair and Iowa State Fair have a learning opportunity coming up.
Adair County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Youth Coordinator Caroline Savage says that there is a rabbit workshop approaching. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that all youths participating in showing rabbits may attend.
“This is a great opportunity for beginners or really just anyone interested in showing rabbits at the Adair County Fair. It is open to all K-12th grade youth. So Clover kids, you’re encouraged to attend.”
Savage mentions that the rabbit workshop will be from 2-4pm March 14th at the Adair County Fairgrounds. She adds that directly following this workshop, there will be a cat workshop to help teach how to show cats at the fair, taking place from 4:30-6pm in the same place.
