The Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its annual Celebrate Adel event by seeking nominations for the yearly awards. 

President Erin Milroy says nominations are now open for the Adel Business of the Year and Citizen of the Year awards. She adds that the awards will help recognize the business and citizen who went above and beyond in 2025.

She adds that the awards will help recognize the business and individual who helped support the community over the past year.

“It’s someone who’s gone above and beyond their day-in and day-out, who can really demonstrate to supporting the community or the business community in a significant way in 2025.”

During last year’s program, Uptown Vintage Market was named the Business of the Year and Josh Shull was given the Citizen of the Year for his work with the Adel Lions Club Flag Program.

Milroy details that nominations for this year’s awards are due by Tuesday, March 10. Business of the Year nominations can be submitted here and Citizen of the Year nominations can be submitted by clicking here.

The Celebrate Adel event will be held on April 27 at Country Lane Lodge. Tickets are available online through the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce website.
