Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Football Head Coach Doug Winkowitsch is being recognized at the state level for his accomplishments.

Winkowitsch is being inducted into the Iowa Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Winkowitsch recently completed his second season as the Tigers Head Coach, posting an overall record of 17-5 (9-1 in district) during his tenure with ADM. Winkowitsch has led the Tigers to the playoffs in both years, losing in the Class 4A Quarterfinals each time.

Before coming to Adel, Winkowitsch was the football head coach for West Delaware High School in Manchester, IA for 20 seasons. Winkowitsch was inducted this year alongside Skip Eckhardt, Chuck Henry, and Alan Pierce.
