All nine Heart of Iowa Activities Conference boys’ basketball teams have completed their seasons and the All-Conference selections are now public. Greene County was last in the conference at 2-12 and 3-19 overall. No Rams were named to either the first or second All-Conference teams, but seniors Carter Hinote and Nathan Towers were on the Honorable Mention list.

Hinote was out for basketball this season for the first time since his freshman year of high school. He averaged 4.8 points per game with 2.9 assists and 3.6 rebounds. The guard started all 22 games for Coach Chris Nelson. Towers, also a guard, also started all 22 games and averaged 5.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per contest.

The leading scorer for the Rams was senior Broc Stream. He missed the last half of the season due to torn knee ligaments suffered in a game vs. West Marshall (State Center) in January. He had surgery to repair the damage last month.
