The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Basketball Team recently discovered that they will be playing Xavier in the first round of the Iowa High School Athletic Association State Tournament in Des Moines on Monday.

The Tigers earned the second seed and will face off against the seventh-seed Saints. ADM won their substate championship game this past Monday versus Nevada 73-43, while Xavier defeated Wahlert Catholic 66-53 on Tuesday.

The rest of the field features Ballard (#1 seed) battling Gilbert (#8), Pella (#4) against Carroll (#5), then Storm Lake (#3) facing Solon (#6). ADM will tip off versus Xavier on Monday at 2pm from the Casey’s Center in Des Moines. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF.
