Adel first responders will go head-to-head in a competition tomorrow afternoon.

The Second Annual “It’s Still A Little Bit Chili Cook-Off” will be held at 1 p.m. at Great White Buffalo Public House in Adel. The Adel Fire Department will go up against the Adel Police Department to see who comes out on top this year. The police department is the reigning champion.

Community members are invited to help support local heroes and warm up with a bowl of chili.

There will be no charge to eat, but free-will donations are encouraged to help raise funds for both departments. Proceeds from the event will be split evenly between them.

The Adel Fire Department will also have tickets to its upcoming dance available for purchase at tomorrow’s cook-off.
