District FFA Contests are taking place across the state tomorrow, and Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center, and West Central Valley will be sending individuals to Denison for the Southwest District’s competition.

AC/GC FFA Advisor Skie Shull shares that they have 25 students competing in several different events. She shares that the contests aren’t the only things for the students to do while they’re there.

“Members can participate in a wide variety of things this weekend. We do have two delegates going for our chapter that will sit in on those district officer speeches and impromptu questions this weekend. Members can also sit through our closing ceremonies where we learn about awards, academic achievements that are happening, and things like that. So they can experience a wide variety of listening to other contests if they want to.”

West Central Valley has one student competing, and a team of six others going as alternates for their event. A full list of all those competing tomorrow can be found in this story online.
