With spring sports on the horizon with Track & Field already practicing for the Perry Bluejays and Jayettes, junior Amelie Canales begins to transition from wrestling shape to soccer shape.

With the first week of practice still over a week away, Canales looks shift her competitive edge from the wrestling mat, to the soccer pitch. As a sophomore at midfielder, Canales played in 16 games and started in 11 for the Jayettes wrapping up her sophomore campaign with three assists, 16 shots with nine on goal for 1 goal last season.

With practice still over a week away, Canales patiently awaits the first day of Jayettes soccer practice scheduled for Monday, March 16th.
