With soccer just over a week away from beginning for the Perry Bluejays, senior Jacobo Cerna-Gomez looks to fill the gap left by graduated senior Jonatan Banuelos who lead the Bluejays offensively last season.

Cerna-Gomez, the second highest goal soccer for the Bluejays last season, looks to continue to grow in his final season with the Perry soccer team, as he ended the 2024-25 season with 18 goals scored, just seven goals behind Banuelos who led the team with 25 goals.

With 86 shot attempts with 42 shots on goal last season for a 20.9% shot percentage, Cerna-Gomez looks to rise to the occasion as offensive leader for the Bluejays.
