The Dallas County Foundation is helping contribute to over 30 projects in 2026.

Director Nicole Connick says 50 grant applications were submitted this year, of which 32 were funded totaling around $160,000. She adds that a variety of projects received funds in communities across Dallas County, including Adel, Perry and Redfield.

Connick explains that around $50,000 of the total grant funds came from the Grow Greene County Gaming Corporation. Those funds were split between four large projects, including Dallas Conservation’s Voas observation deck accessible ramp, Perry High School softball batting cages, extrication gear for Granger Fire and EMS and auditorium lights and sound upgrades at Woodward-Granger High School.

An awards reception will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 16 at the Roy R Estle Memorial Library, 1308 Walnut Street, in Dallas Center.
