The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Basketball Team will start their quest to a state title tomorrow in Des Moines for the Iowa High School Athletic Association Tournament, going up against Xavier in the first round.

The Tigers were granted the number two seed in Class 3A, as the Saints are seeded seventh in the field. ADM beat Nevada 73-43 in the Region 6 Championship game this past Monday, while Xavier was victorious over Wahlert Catholic 66-53 in the Region 3 Championship contest.

The Tigers’ leading scorer is senior Hudson Lorensen, averaging 22.4 points per game on 53 percent shooting, as senior Trey Bryte is sitting at about 8 assists. For the Saints, senior Zander Murray hovers around 21 points per contest on 53 percent shooting, with senior AJ Evans grabbing about 8.4 rebounds.

ADM comes into the game with a record of 22-2, and Xavier is 15-8 on the year. The contest is taking place inside the Casey’s Center in Des Moines tomorrow at 2pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, starting around 1:45pm.
