The indoor track & field season starts today for the Greene County High School boys’ team. Coach Chad Morton’s Rams will be inside the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls for the A.D. Dickinson Relays starting at 2 p.m. The Rams will send their girls to the UNI-Dome tomorrow for a meet under the same name.

The Dickinson Relays are a one class, non-scoring meet. Teams may enter as many as three individuals and one relay per event. The two longest running events for boys are the 3,200 and 1,600 meters, and they are invitational events with their own entry limitations.

Coach Morton told Raccoon Valley Radio he hopes today’s meet serves as a practice for some of his athletes, while others will use it as a qualifier for the March 13 State Coed Indoor Meet inside the Lied Student Recreation Center on the Iowa State University Campus in Ames.
