Individuals in 4-H in Adair County are reminded of an important class coming up.
Adair County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Youth Coordinator Caroline Savage says that they will be hosting an in-person Youth for the Quality Care of Animals class on March 17th. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio why individuals need to remember to take this class.
“A reminder on this, any exhibitor planning on showing beef, dairy, both cattle and goats, meat goats, poultry, rabbit, sheep or swine must complete this course in person or online and submit a copy of their certificate to the extension office by June 17th.”
Savage mentions that this class will be at the 4-H/FFA Building at the Adair County Fairgrounds. She adds that they will have one last in-person YQCA class on April 20th.
