The Greene County School Board will meet tomorrow evening.

The meeting will start with a public hearing on the 2026-27 school calendar, followed by a consideration to approve it. Then, the Board will consider for approval student driving permits, fundraiser requests, a resolution for a budget guarantee, and the ratification of the negotiated agreement with the Greene County Education Association for the 2026-27 school year.

Additionally, the Board will consider for approval an employee sick leave request, a purchase agreement with Area Education Agency for next school year, a resolution to join the Iowa Local Government Risk Pool and a proposal for an LED lighting upgrade at the baseball field. They will also consider approving an update to the high school student handbook and freshmen college classes.
