Julie Maylum’s freshmen campaign with the Wartburg Knights women’s wrestling team comes to a close as Maylum found plenty of success ending the season with a 14-9 record.

At 180 pounds, Maylum made an impact during her freshman campaign, placing third at the 2026 Cliff Keen Mike Duroe Invitational, earning Wartburg 19 team points with two falls. Maylum reached the third place match up three times in her rookie season and claimed third in her final match of the season.

Maylum and the Knights look for another successful season next year, after placing 2nd at NCAA regionals then 11th at the NCAA Championships.
