Photo belongs to the West Central Valley Dance Team

West Central Valley had three representatives that made the 2026 All Iowa Honor Dance Team, which performed at the Girls Basketball State Tournament in Des Moines last week.

Adalyn Weber, Scarlett Putney, and Addisyn Leonard were selected from the Wildcats’ Dance Team to perform at the Casey’s Center during several games. West Central Valley had an outstanding showing for the Iowa Dance and Drill Team Association Championships in December, picking up a third-place finish in the contemporary division, fourth in Pom, and fifth in Hip Hop. In addition, Putney was the Class 4 Solo runner-up, as Leonard was named the Class 4 Solo Champion.
