The Adel City Council met in regular session on Tuesday.

Items on the agenda that were approved included resolutions to authorize a general obligation loan agreement not to exceed $5,100,000, following a public hearing, and levying a tax for the payment and authorizing staff to proceed with transition of landfill property and operations.

Other items that were approved included authorizing the city administrator to proceed with executing a purchase agreement for property at 1700 Greene Street, public utilities easements for Southbridge Plat 10 and Titan Storage-Adel 1, LLC, setting a public hearing for rezoning of property from single family to highway commercial on April 14, a preliminary plat for Five Oaks and support for an application to the Iowa Economic Development Authority Business Incentives for Growth Program for a proposed manufacturing project.
