The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Track and Field Team began the 2025-26 season on Tuesday at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls for the Dickinson Relays.

The Tiger girls are coming off winning their second state championship in Iowa last season. Key performances from Tuesday’s opening meet included junior Isabelle Book running 8.06 seconds to place seventh in the 60 meter dash, senior Haley Nelson posted a time of 9.51 seconds in the 60 meter hurdles, finishing 11th.

ADM freshman Claire Priestley ran 27.43 seconds in the 200 meters for ninth place, while sophomore Elliotte Von Roden captured 13th place in the 800 meters with a time of 2:34.60, and also notched 20th in the 1500 meters at 5:21.59. Junior Allie Eggleston garnered 24th in the 3,000 meters with a time of 12:30.27, and the Tiger 4×200 Meter Relay Team of Book, Brecken Morse, Peyton Standley, and Elise Coghlan tallied sixth overall.

ADM will be back in action tomorrow in Ames at the Lied Recreation Athletic Center for the Iowa Association of Track Coaches Indoor Championships, starting at 9am. The full results for the Tigers from the Dickinson Relays can be found by clicking here.
