Perry Fine Arts will host another new group during a concert on Sunday afternoon.

Chairperson Cathy Clark says New Jolly Germans Band will perform for the first time on Sunday at the Perry Performing Arts Center. She adds that the band plays “old time” dance music including polkas, waltzes and schottische.

Clark details that the group, formerly known as the Czech It Out Band, carries on the tradition that was brought to this country by Central European immigrants during the 19th century. She encourages area residents to come enjoy an afternoon of wonderful entertainment.

Clark says while the show is free to the public, free-will donations to Perry Fine Arts are accepted. The concert will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Perry Performing Arts Center, 1200 18th Street.
