The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Basketball Team will participate in the Iowa High School Athletic Association State Tournament Semifinal game tonight versus Storm Lake to secure a spot in the championship match on Friday.

The Tigers defeated Xavier 68-59 in the Quarterfinal Round on Monday, behind senior Hudson Lorensen’s 34 points. For the Tornadoes, it was an overtime victory against Solon 68-60, as seniors Cameron Boyd and Jaidyn Coon combined for 41 points.

ADM and Storm Lake met in the state tournament for the first time last season in the first round, resulting in a 59-53 win for the Tigers. The winner will face either Ballard or Caroll on Friday for the championship. Tonight’s contest is taking place at Casey’s Center in Des Moines, beginning at 7:15pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF.
