The Mary J Barnett Memorial Library is looking forward to one of their monthly group meetings this month.

Library Director Jerri Hawkins shares that the cookbook club has an interesting book theme for this month, focusing on some common household favorites. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio how people can participate.

“You come in and you pick out your recipe a little bit ahead of time and then you bring it in that night and you get to try all the recipes that everybody else made too.”

Hawkins mentions that this month’s meeting is March 19th at 6pm. She adds that they are pulling recipes from “A Taste of Home Pizza and Pasta,” so if you’re interested in participating, come in, pick a recipe you like and show up for the meeting.
