Families are invited to attend a Barnyard Bash at the Perry Public Library this weekend.

Youth Services Librarian Laura Pieper says the event will be held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday. She will read the baa-st stories and there will be ‘sheep’ to herd and ‘eggs’ to gather and plenty of fun farm animal crafts. 

Pieper adds that the Second Saturday program is a free event for ages 6 to 12, with no registration required. 

She also invites families and children to check out the Patriotic Peeps Scavenger Hunt during spring break from Friday through Saturday, March 21. 

Images of Peeps dressed like important men and women in American History will be hidden around the library. If you find them all and solve the riddle, you will win a small prize.
