On Thursday, Lily Myers was one of three Perry track athletes to represent the Bluejays and Jayettes at the IATC Indoor Championships in Ames. Lily competed in two events and placed within the top 20 in both events.

The junior began the day in the girls 400 meter, crossing the finish line in 1:04.30 seconds to claim 18th place. Myers took her place on the track one more time at the indoor championships, participating in the girls 800 meter run finishing in 2:31.39 seconds to claim 16th place. Junior Rylan Modlin and freshmen Xavier Leake also represented Perry, with Modlin placing 25th in the boys 60m dash, and Leake placing 26th in the boys long jump.
