The Iowa Track & Field Indoor State Championship Meet through the Iowa Track & Field Coaches Association is today and the Greene County teams will be in the coed event this afternoon in Class 2A. The action is inside the Lied Student Recreation Center on the Iowa State U. Campus in Ames. The meet starts at 4:15 p.m. with field events and running events begin at 4:30 p.m. Entries are limited in this meet, there are qualifying standards that coaches submitted, and team scores will be kept.

Coach Chad Morton for the boys and Coach Derek Merk for the girls will have entries in about half of the events today and tonight. Both Greene County teams competed earlier this week indoors at the University of Northern Iowa for the A. D. Dickinson Relays, and both had events that showed promise.
