West Central Valley Girls Bowling Head Coach Chris Partlow expresses his satisfaction with how the 2025-26 season went for the team.

During the Class 1A Region 3 State Qualifying Meet in Adel on February 2nd, the Wildcats were able to capture third place out of seven schools. Only Nevada and Clarke Community finished ahead of them, but Partlow explains that both squads have very experienced teams. He notes that senior Bailey Dickson came close to advancing to the state tournament, but put on a great performance in Adel.

“She stood out in the singles division with some really big games. At the end, she fell about 30 pins short. We talked about missing the single pin spares and the easy spares, and there were some that she looks back and grins and smiles, and says ‘yeah, I wish I could’ve had those back,’ but that’s the way it goes.”

Also, Wildcat senior Kayla Bartholomew finished as the state runner-up in the adaptive division this year.
