A Greene County 4-H group recently made a donation to a worthy cause.
Greene County ISU Extension 4-H and Youth Coordinator Samantha Hardaway says last month the Clover Connection 4-H Club learned about setting Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound (SMART) goals.
Clover Connection Reporter Charlie Deal says their group set goals for how many items they could collect for the local food pantry, Greene County Action Resource Center. He states that each member brought the items that they collected individually and in total, their 4-H Club donated over 220 non-perishable and toiletry items to the food pantry. He adds that after their meeting earlier this month, members went to the food pantry where they helped stock the shelves.
