Two players from the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Basketball squad were selected to the Iowa High School Athletic Association’s Class 3A All-Tournament Team.

Seniors Trey Bryte and Hudson Lorensen were named to be apart of the Class 3A All-Tournament Team for their exceptional play during the 2026 IHSAA Boys State Basketball Series. Bryte’s passing display was apparent throughout the tournament, while also making big buckets, including the game-tying layup at the buzzer in the semifinals versus Storm Lake to send the contest into overtime, where the Tigers would end up winning 72-70 in double OT.

On the other hand, Lorensen delivered 34 points in the opening game against Xavier, then another 38 points versus Storm Lake, then in the championship match against Ballard, seemingly gave ADM the go-ahead bucket to put the Tigers up 35-33 with six seconds remaining, before Bomber senior Jude Gibson was fouled with 0.2 seconds, then hit two free throws to go to overtime, where Ballard would come out on top 43-39 to be crowned the Class 3A Champs.

Lorensen was selected as the captain of the five-person team, which along with Bryte, included Ballard’s Gibson and Evan Abbott, plus Storm Lake’s Jaidyn Coon.
