Spring break is here, but also is the first day of practice for three sports at Perry High School. Boys and girls golf and boys soccer officially have their first practice today, the first official day of spring break.

The boys soccer team takes the pitch today for the first time in 2026 and for the first time under new head coach Abraham Cardenas. The Bluejays are just two weeks away from their first match of the season, playing host to the ADM Tigers on Monday, March 30th.

The boys and girls golf teams also begin practices today, with both teams await action in the first week of April. The Bluejays and Jayettes golf squads will be in action on Tuesday, April 7th, as the Bluejays are set to travel to the Jewell Golf and Country club while the Jayettes stay home to kick off the 2026 season.

Although it’s the first official day of spring break, there’s lots of activitiy at Perry High School as its the first official day of boys soccer and golf practices for both golf teams.
